TOS Interchapter 2: Admitted

"Your name is James Hades Bocioke, correct?" A doctor repeated the name from the files in front of him on the table.  

"Yeah." James responded, annoyed.  

"Age 15 years?"

"Yes..."

"Canine?"

James simply glared at the doctor, tired of his ridiculous questions.  

"Fine, let's just get started then."  The doctor shuffled through James's file, which was quite thick.  "Who is Daredia?"

It was the same question every psychiatrist, doctor, cop, or whoever asked him.  "She was my girlfriend.  She died last year."

"Yet you still see her often, don't you?  How often?" He prodded.  

As the doctor spoke, James saw a dark shadow creeping onto his shoulder.   "Everyday...sometimes, several times a day."  He explained, "Some days she follows me everywhere."

The doctor scrawled down a few lines of notes before inquiring, "Do you see her right now?"  A pair of bright red eyes blinked open from within the shadow.  

"Y-yes..." James stuttered.  

"Where?" He was intrigued, but a tad nervous.  

"Well...." James began, but stopped as he saw the figure disappear.  He watched the doctor carefully over the next few moments, seeing his breathing increasing rapidly and his skin turning red underneath his fur.  The doctor abruptly stood up and left the room.  

"Excuse me for a moment..." He huffed as he exited the room and left James alone.  

James stayed in his seat, but began leaning back further, lounging in the chair.  A smirk appeared on his face.  

He had only been alone for a short time when the doctor returned with a security guard.  The guard quickly handcuffed James to the chair, while the doctor readied a syringe.  As the needle sunk into his arm, James felt himself become extremely sleepy.  He lost consciousness as the guard removed the restraint and dragged him out of the examination room.
